There are classes for different age groups starting from 6 year olds. I took this class when I was 34 ! There is no right age to start learning you see !
They offer both regular and part time classes. I attended the weekend classes
For beginner part time courses the fee is 273 RM includes text books and a lot of practice material. For regular courses and advanced levels the fee varies. You can check their website to understand the fee structure

Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur
The Japan Foundation is supervised by the foreign ministyr and is a recognised institure to learn Japanese language. Their intake is usually in April and Oct. They take in only 16 years old and above. Their course fee starts from 210 for elementary classes (7-10 sessions) and can vary based on the levels and mode you wish to learn. They offer both physical and virtual classes.
